It is normal to have some pain at the injection site or in the low back. After being checked and released from having your procedure, please follow the instructions below to ensure the best outcomes:

• GO HOME AND REST for this day
• NO shopping, sightseeing or visiting relatives, or friends today
• At home get in a comfortable chair or recliner/sofa.
• If needed, use a small ice pack to soothe the lower back area where the procedure occurred. Applying an ice pack for 20 minutes at a time to the area may help.
• Take your regular medications as instructed by your physician. Tylenol (acetaminophen) is a good medication to take if your physician allows it and agrees.
